Greenhouse film properties
THT - UV
Protects greenhouse film against harmful UV radiation from the sun. It extends the life of the film depending on its thickness and the proportion of UV additive used. It also prevents whitefly activity and the spread of viral disease inside the greenhouse. It is more resistant to chemicals such as sulphur and chlorine than conventional HALS-UV.

IR
Allows sunlight to enter the greenhouse more effectively during the day, while the thermal barrier in the film slows cooling at night. In clear weather, it keeps the greenhouse 2-4 °C warmer than films without IR. It reduces the temperature difference between day and night and heating costs, and promotes earlier harvests, higher yields and better crop quality.

EVA
Increases the film’s light transmission and elasticity, and improves its mechanical properties and thermal effect.

ANTI-FOG
Increases the surface tension of water molecules to prevent droplets forming on the inner surface of the film. It protects plants against diseases, particularly fungal diseases, caused by dripping water. It improves crop yield and quality while reducing the use of crop protection chemicals. Depending on greenhouse installation, ventilation and climate conditions, the useful life of the Anti-Fog additive ranges from 12 to 18 months.

ANTI-MIST
Must be used together with Anti-Fog. Its rapid moisture absorption reduces the mist that forms inside the greenhouse at sunrise.

ANTI-DUST
Prevents dust accumulation on the outermost surface of the film for maximum light transmission. Improves plant growth and productivity.
