General notice on personal data protection and processing

The scope within which your personal data may be processed by Bereket Plastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., referred to as Bereket Plastik or the Company, as data controller under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, referred to as KVKK, is explained below.

I. How do we collect your personal data and on what legal basis?

The Company collects your personal data through different channels to conduct its activities, on the legal grounds of compliance with legislation and Company policies. In accordance with the fundamental principles of KVKK and the conditions and purposes for processing personal data set out in Articles 5 and 6, your personal data may also be processed and transferred for the purposes described in this notice.

II. For what purposes do we process your personal data?

Bereket Plastik may process your collected personal data in accordance with the fundamental principles of KVKK and the conditions and purposes set out in Articles 5 and 6 for the following purposes:

Carrying out the work required by the Company’s business units to conduct Bereket Plastik’s commercial activities in accordance with legislation and Company policies, and conducting activities accordingly;
Determining, planning and implementing Bereket Plastik’s short-, medium- and long-term commercial policies;
Designing and conducting Bereket Plastik’s human resources activities;
Supporting the design, planning and execution of Bereket Plastik’s human resources activities;
Ensuring the commercial and legal security of Bereket Plastik and individuals with whom it has business relationships;
Protecting Bereket Plastik’s commercial reputation and the trust it has established.

III. To whom and for what purposes do we transfer your personal data?

Bereket Plastik may transfer your collected personal data to our business partners, suppliers, Bereket Plastik companies, shareholders, legally authorised public institutions and private persons, in accordance with the fundamental principles of KVKK and the conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9, for the following purposes:

Carrying out the work required by the Company’s business units to conduct Bereket Plastik’s commercial activities in accordance with legislation and Company policies, and conducting activities accordingly;
Determining, planning and implementing Bereket Plastik’s short-, medium- and long-term commercial policies;
Designing and conducting Bereket Plastik’s human resources activities;
Supporting the design, planning and execution of Bereket Plastik’s human resources activities;
Ensuring the commercial and legal security of Bereket Plastik and individuals with whom it has business relationships;
Protecting Bereket Plastik’s commercial reputation and the trust it has established.

IV. What are your rights as a data subject under Article 11 of KVKK?

Individuals whose personal data is processed have the following rights under Article 11 of KVKK:

To learn whether personal data is being processed;
To request information if personal data has been processed;
To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used for that purpose;
To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad;
To request correction of incomplete or incorrect personal data and notification of the correction to third parties to whom the data has been transferred;
To request deletion or destruction of personal data when the reasons requiring processing cease to exist, even if the data was processed in accordance with KVKK and other applicable laws, and to request notification of this action to third parties to whom the data has been transferred;
To object to a result against the individual arising from analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems;
To request compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing of personal data.

You may submit requests concerning the rights listed above using the Data Subject Application Form available at www.bereketplastik.com.tr.

Depending on the nature of the request, the Company will resolve it free of charge as soon as possible and no later than thirty days. If the procedure requires an additional cost, the fee specified in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be charged.
